    Orange Olive Oil Chicken Breasts


    This is a simple recipe that is low in calories, low in fat, and low in carbohydrates. It is a real easy recipe I found on my I tablet. I just used three chicken breasts, onion, garlic, sea salt, pepper, olive oil and orange juice. I just simply poured the olive oil in the pan and heated it up on the stove on high heat, then I cut up some onion and garlic, sauteed them until they were brown. After I sauteed the onions and garlic, I added the chicken breasts and sprinkled salt and pepper on them to give them a nice flavor. I cooked the chicken on each side until they were cooked thoroughly well. I added two tablespoons of orange juice for added sweet flavor and let it soak into the chicken. I after I finished cooking the chicken, I tasted the it. These chicken breasts tasted sweet and tender. I especially loved the onions and garlic added to them because it gave it that extra-added flavor to them. Also, adding orange juice will give it a little sweet taste to it with some vitamin C added to it. So enjoy!


    3 tablespoons of olive oil
    1 cup onion, cut into small pieces
    5 garlic cloves, cut into small pieces
    3 skinless chicken breasts
    Sprinkle sea salt and pepper to taste
    2 tablespoons of orange juice


    Heat up the stove on high and pour in olive oil, add onion and garlic, cook until sauteed and brown, turn down heat to medium, then add chicken breasts and sprinkle with salt and pepper to taste. Cook one side until brown, then flip the chicken on the other side, cook until it turns brown. Last of all, add orange juice and let it cook until it’s soaked well into the chicken breasts. Serves 3.

    Lemon Pepper Pink Salmon Fillets

    After taking some time off on my blog I decided to write another recipe. During the month of March, during lent, I found some frozen wild-caught salmon fillets. This week I decided to try a Paleo Recipe that called for Salmon. It was a simple recipe that didn’t require a lot of ingredients so I tried it. After cooking it on the stove, it turned out to be delicious. It had a buttery flavor to it even though I didn’t use butter, but olive oil instead. After I completed cooking the salmon fillets, I sprinkled it with lots of lemon pepper. The lemon pepper seasoning gave it that added flavor that tasted even better.

    Salmon fillets are not only healthy and good for you but it tastes good too. It is low in calories and high in protein that burns unwanted fat. It has omega-3 fats in them, which everyone needs to help fight heart disease. There are lots of ways to prepare salmon, you can make a salmon loaf instead of a meatloaf or you can bake them with herbs and olive oil on top and you can cook them on the stove or grill them too, whichever you like to make them. They are always good with side dishes too! Also, if you are trying to lose weight salmon is the best kind of food you can eat.


    1 pound of salmon fillet (frozen or fresh)

    3 Tablespoons olive oil

    Lemon pepper seasoning as much or little as you likes to put on them.


    In a large frying pan pour olive oil in the pan and put in salmon fillets. Cook salmon on both sides until they are pink and are cooked through. After cooking, sprinkle generously lemon pepper on top of the salmon fillets. Serves 2.
